| The New and Improved gen² Here at National Office, we have been brainstorming on how we can make our gen² Hybrid Office Furniture website better for you, the dealers. After weeks of discussing, we started to implement several different features to help you understand and specify gen². This was the beginning to a never ending process. We felt that the first step was to simplify the way users actually use our website. We placed the navigation at the top of every page, thus eliminating the confusing parts of our navigation and making the site consistent and more organized. Using main categories with drop down menus makes for a much cleaner look and feel. Better Product Pages An easy choice to improve the feel of the site was to remove those hard to use interactive flash product pages. We replaced the product pages with actual product information and pictures to inform and enlighten you rather than confuse you. Most pages contain several pictures of the product and the most current information regarding that specific product. Not only was most of the gen² line added to the site but also all of the fabrics and finishes that we offer are now available online. You are able to view all the panel fabrics that can be applied to gen² Hybrid 9000 or Avenir panels. You can browse the hundreds of different finishes and colors of fabric, laminate, paint, 3mm edgebanding, t-molding, and even 9000 hinges. All New Request Cart Adding all the fabrics and finishes was a great idea, but why stop there? A dealer once stated, "You should be able to request fabric samples through your website." You asked, we listened and delivered. While searching through all of our fabrics and finishes, you have the option to request samples by adding it to our request cart. When you are done browsing, you can review your request and submit your order. Simple as that! Resources To Help You We have added a resource section to house numerous pages that will aid you. The case studies have photos from various jobs around the country. Being able to see different styles on jobs and the way they are set up helps a dealer show their clients the possibilities. Helping is what it is all about. That's why we added installation instructions to the site, which is also under the resource section. Are you or a company you hired having a hard time getting a certain product set up correctly? Then visit our site and print out the helpful instructions. Similar and as helpful as the instructions page is the PDF library. We often get requests for information on various gen² products, so we put the information on the site for you. If need a certain PDF for a client, you can go to the site and print it out. Or visit our video library where you can access videos on products and even the National Office commercial featuring our charismatic CEO, Greg Schneider. All of these features, additions, and updates are for the sole purpose to benefit you. We will strive everyday to help you as much as we can in any way possible. If you have an idea for our site, let us know. The more input we have from you, the better the site will be for everyone. It's not just our website, it is all of ours. |
